Design Appraisal
Working with the client and design team we ensure that accessibility is an integral part of the design process.
Since January 2011, Disability Access Certificates have been required, by Part M of the Building Regulations.
As part of our design appraisal service, a report can be prepared demonstrating compliance which can be submitted to the Building Control Authorities.
Accessibility Audit
An Accessibility Audit is an appraisal of the building, grounds and facilities that you currently offer for your clients, customers and staff.
The audit will highlight existing and potential barriers to accessibility that a member of the public, or staff member may face when trying to use the building and it’s services.
Following the site visit, a schedule of recommendations is compiled so that a strategy of improvement works can be developed by the client.
Recommendations can be prioritised into short, medium and long term solutions to coincide with predefined funding or maintenance schedules.
